Michigan State Numismatic Society is Hosting a Show in Kalamazoo!

The event will take place on May 7-10, 2025, at the Kalamazoo Expo Center.

Two clubs will host the 2025 MSNS Spring convention: theKalamazoo Numismatic Club and the Grand RapidsArea Coin Club. The two hosts will split roughly $3,250 for the duties entrusted to them over the three-day convention.

Dean Cugliotta will be acting as the club liaison between KNC and MSNS, coordinating education exhibits by club members directly with Frank Passic, the MSNS exhibit chair.

The Society will use the large room at the Kalamazoo Expo Center and the same security element which has been trusted by MSNS for over 40 years will be there.

Cases are handled by MSNS. Our club still owns 30+ cases and will offer case rental to MSNS if needed.

Daily Responsibilities

Five members from each host club will run a welcome table by the door. Their duties will include: Check IDs, issue hand-written name tags, and open the doors when the show begins.

MSNS holds exhibiting to the utmost standards. Excellent prizes are awarded to the individual with the most votes in each category. Between the two clubs, in the form of a schedule, we need to provide a club member to watch over the exhibit area. You can be seated at a table or walk the exhibits. We need to make sure this area is free of trash, litter, and no drinks without lids. Also, it needs to be kept secure. We always need eyes on these prized possessions.
